Jeannie London began her teaching career in 1989 at Kyrock Elementary where she worked for seven and a half years before taking a sabbatical to raise her two small boys. In 1998, she returned to teaching and began working at Park City Elementary in Barren County. During her tenure at Park City, she taught grades four, five and six, as well as served students in the special education program. In 2009, Mrs. London began working at North Jackson Elementary and taught sixth grade until 2013, at which time she became the Assistant Principal.
Mrs. London graduated from Caverna High School in 1985 and from Western Kentucky University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exceptional Education. In 1997, she graduated with a Master’s of Arts in Education Degree from Western Kentucky University and went on to complete a Rank 1 from Indiana Wesleyan. In 2013, Mrs. London completed her Degree in Administration from the University of the Cumberlands.
Anthony Frazier, former NJE Principal and now DPP for Barren County Schools stated, “Jeannie London was instrumental in the start of NJE in 2009. She has been a leading force with The Leader in Me implementation and lighthouse status.
Her content knowledge, love for kids and understanding of NJE has been and will continue to be an asset to lead the school, staff, and students to success.

Jeannie is married to her supportive husband, Shane who is a high school science teacher. They have two children, Andrew and Matthew, both Barren County High School graduates, a daughter-in-law, Kelsey, and wonderful grandson, Kane. Mrs. London will begin her duties as principal July 1st.
