BCHS Students Attend Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board Meeting

Grant Marcum and Blake Hensley accompanied Judge Executive Michael Hale, Superintendent Bo Matthews, and Principal Brad Johnson to represent Barren County at the Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board meeting today at Western Kentucky University.  

Travel in 2017 to Washington, DC & Philadelphia, PA

Attention:  A parent meeting is planned for Tuesday, August 30th at 6:30pm in the high school library! Registration for the trip, along with the first deposit, is October 1st. August 30th is the only meeting planned before that date.

For over ten years, Social Studies teacher Todd Steenbergen has been leading trips for students and their families to places of historical interests.  This coming school year, a Junior Tours trip is planned for Spring Break, April 3-7, 2017.  You are invited to participate in an exciting and educational trip of a lifetime to Washington, DC, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Click the link above for more details.

BC Reads

2016 Summer Reads & Feeds Program Winners

Thank you to all the students, and staff, who participated in our #‎BC Reads & Feeds Summer Reading Program.  We had nearly hundreds of entries over the summer from the great books our students and staff read. 

The drawing for the prizes at the close of #‎BC Reads & Feeds was held this week.  There were TWO Kindle Fires that were awarded to two lucky readers.

High School office from 8-4.
