Third and fourth grade students at Temple Hill were given the opportunity to experience first hand how a book is published when one of their teachers, Kylee Allen invited her parents to walk them through the process.

Temple Hill held their annual talent show the last week of school. Under the direction of music teacher Ruby Edwards, thirty-two outstanding performances were given.

"T.H.E. DOGHOUSE" Temple Hill Elementary implemented their first school store this semester. "T.H.E. Doghouse" was open daily from 7:00-7:30 and also during specific events.

Temple Hill 6th Grade Celebration was held on the last day of school. 

Fifty-seven students were honored during the ceremony for a variety of accomplishments including graduation from the D.A.R.E. program by Deputy Ken Thomas.

Madison Hagan, Temple Hill 6th grader, was named winner of the Mary Emma Yokley award.

The winner of the David Montgomery award is Trevor Wood, sixth grader at Temple Hill.

Barry Key and Christine Key (son and wife of J.B.) are shown here with Austin Greever, co-winner of the J.B. Key Spirit Award that was presented during the sixth grade celebration at Temple Hill.

Zech Kingrey, sixth grader at Temple Hill, was recognized at the May meeting of the Barren County Board of Education.

Brianna Shirley, sixth grader at Temple Hill was a co-winner of the J.B. Key Spirit Award for her involvement in school activities and community service.

Temple Hill 6th grader Travis Ballard was the recipient of the 2013 Shauna Campbell Citizenship Award.

There have been too many wonderful things that have happened to the students in Barren County to mention, but everyone will agree that our students are OUTSTANDING at everything they do!  As we close this school year, we wish nothing but the best for the Class of 2013 and we look forward to another successful year.  We are BC!

Temple Hill Students of the Month for May were honored at the school's last Town Meeting.

Temple Hill recognized their April Students of the Month for the character trait of Courtesy.

Temple Hill 5th-6th grade students had the opportunity to participate in the Third District Music Educators Honors Chorus held at SKYPAC in Bowling Green recently.

Temple Hill Student Council held a Pet Supplies Drive the first week of May in order to help support the Barren River Animal Welfare Association (BRAWA).

Temple Hill School actively participates in activities to promote the Barren County Relay for Life each year.

Things were rocking at Temple Hill recently as the faculty and staff treated the students to a 'rock concert' featuring stars from the 60's to present day. 

Temple Hill 5th-6th grade students had the opportunity to learn to play string instruments this school year.

The third grade class at Temple Hill entertained audiences by performing the play "Arf" on two occasions.

Temple Hill 1st and 2nd graders delighted their audience with the performance of the play "A Barnyard Moosical."

Barren County Schools 21st Century Commnity Learning Centers presents Summer Scholars Opportunities, which include summer camps for students of all ages.  We are providing camps at every Barren County School from May through August.  In addition Barren County School District is also offering childcare services at Red Cross Elementary from May 23rd through July 26th, 2013.  Click learn more for detalis.

TeachMeet is a unique experience often referred to as an “Unconference” where attendees rotate between 20 minute info sessions focusing on educational technology. 
Topics such as; Web 2.0 tools, learning management systems,wikis, blogs, social networks, Google tools, Lync, Skype, and much  more. 

Door prizes and goodies will be given away at the SmackDown closing session.
Registration and breakfast begin at 8:00 am.

Temple Hill Elementary recognized their March students of the month for the character trait of being a Problem Solver.

Temple Hill students and staff celebrated Career Day recently by dressing up in their favorite career attire. 

"The Fable Factory", a theatrical production group and coordinated by Glasgow native Ellen Lee Boone, visited Temple Hill Elementary on March 14.

The Temple Hill Academic Team won the Regional Governor's Cup Competition on March 23.
