The National Beta Club is a leadership and service organization for high school students, which promotes scholarship, leadership, and good citizenship.

Who can join?
The club is open to all BCHS students with a cumulative 3.0 grade point average.
$30 per year, which includes $15 for national dues & a club shirt
Each member will receive a club shirt to wear to club meetings and Beta-sponsored events.
How to earn Pin Status:
Earning Pin Status allows you to be recognized during your Graduation for being an Active Beta Member in your class. These requirements must be met by May 1st of your senior year of membership in the club.
To qualify, you must meet or exceed the following requirements:
Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Attend 1 convention per year
Complete 80+ hours of volunteer service*
*Service Hours will be awarded ONLY upon submission of Volunteer Service Form (see link below).
*Fundraisers may qualify for service hours based upon the following criteria: $25 of fundraising = .5 hours of service credit.
*Credit for charitable donations (including both goods and monetary gifts) will be determined based on type and quantity.

*Note: To be eligible to compete at State Convention, each member must participate in at least 2 fall in-house service projects before Thanksgiving Break. To be eligible to compete at National Convention, each member must participate in at least 1 spring in-house service project before Spring Break.
All other hours, for pin status, are due no later than May 1st.
