This total represents produce grown by students on their farms, as well as grown across the district in our tower gardens, garden beds, and raised beds. Watching our students learn, grow, and contribute through agriculture education has made this year a huge success.
As we transition into summer, we’re excited to continue the work by helping provide fresh produce for our summer feeding program. 💚
None of this would be possible without the support of those who believe in the importance of getting more local produce into our school cafeterias. Keeping food close to home not only supports freshness and nutrition but also creates meaningful educational opportunities for our students each and every day.
Thank you for supporting Trojan’s Table and helping us grow something bigger than a garden. 🌱
Barren County students who are interested in becoming growers, we will soon be offering two produce safety courses. Dates, times, and locations will be posted very soon, so be sure to RSVP when details are announced!
