Art gives students another way to find their voice. Some students find their place in a classroom. Others find it on a stage, at an easel, or with an instrument in their hands. During Arts in Education Week, we’re celebrating the many ways our students express themselves, build confidence, and share their ideas through the arts.

🌾 We’re ALL IN for Ag Education Week! 🚜💚

Get ready to celebrate September 21–25 with a full week of dress-up days highlighting the many ways agriculture impacts our lives, our careers, and our Kentucky communities!

From dressing for an agribusiness career to finding your commodity-to-product twin, showing off your work-safe gear, choosing country vs. country club, and ending the week by honoring the legacy of Dale Dobson, there’s something fun and meaningful planned for every day.

Agriculture is so much more than farming—it’s business, science, food, transportation, education, safety, and so much more. Let’s celebrate the people, products, and careers that keep Kentucky growing!

We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up!

AG ED DRESS UP DAYS
"For all our citizens, this memorial will be a reminder of the resilience of the American spirit. As we walk among the benches, we will remember there could have been many more lives lost. On a day when buildings fell, heroes rose: Pentagon employees ran into smoke-filled corridors to guide their friends to safety. Firefighters rushed up the stairs of the World Trade Center as the towers neared collapse. Passengers aboard Flight 93 charged the cockpit and laid down their lives to spare countless others. One of the worst days in America's history saw some of the bravest acts in Americans' history. We'll always honor the heroes of 9/11. And here at this hallowed place, we pledge that we will never forget their sacrifice."
-From George W. Bush's speech at the dedication of the 9/11 Pentagon Memorial

Honk honk! The Tiny Trojan Learning Bus is rolling in September. If your child is ages 2 to 5 and not yet in preschool, come jump in for fun, exploration, and early learning. Through play, one on one instruction, and hands on activities, little learners build the school readiness skills that help them feel confident and excited about the classroom. We cannot wait to welcome your future Trojan and learn right alongside them. We hope to see you at one of our stops this month!

We want to wish Cory Goode all the best as he makes the move to Hardin County. Cory has been an important part of the BC Schools Technology Department since 2001, and he will truly be missed.

Cory played a major role in building our district’s network and advancing information technology across the district. Beyond being a brilliant programmer and a tremendous asset, Cory has been a wonderful colleague and friend to so many throughout BC Schools.

We are grateful for his many years of service and wish him nothing but the best in this next chapter!
